Can we take a moment to appreciate Zooble for bringing a good friend?

(In my opinion) Zooble is the kindest character of the main cast. You could argue and say that Ragatha is, but if you think about it she's only nice as a coping mechanism and doesn't actually mean it most of the time as we say when she was Drunk/High.

Zooble on the other hand genuinely shows interest in helping Gangle and Ragatha throughout the episode with no hidden motives or anything unlike ragatha.

Some examples of this would be them offering Gangle the plastic mask after her comedy mask was broken by Jax.

Another example would be her looking out for Gangle throughout the episode, they didn't verbally assure her like Pomni did when she was about to (Arguably abstract) but she was there when she needed help with Ragatha.

Then later in the episode we have to talk about, is when they stayed overtime and helped ragatha clean up and organize everything while making sure she doesn't do anything stupid, despite them clearly not wanting to participate at all.

My personal favorite example of them caring for Gangle is at the very end of the episode when they saw Gangle distancing herself from the others so they went to check on her and assure her she isn't hated, that they like talking to her and that despite the new mask being a bust they'll eventually find something that works.

(I would just like to mention that Zooble was directly relating to Gangle when they said that)

Then they invited her to join them along with the others which I believe is exactly what Gangle needed in that moment, to be assured they aren't hated and that she has friends who care about her even if she messed up during the adventure.

Overall I'm just glad that they are empathetic and genuinely kind despite how they were introduced as blunt and apathetic like in the Pilot.

This is why Zooble's my favorite characters, they have a hard exterior and grouchy attitude but when it comes to the people they care about they are much more caring and genuine towards them.

Sometimes when he comes home he just likes to do .... this. Thinking about how he has miraculously made it out of this shithole, alive. Not made it all too far but he’s managed to get out of Hawkins, Indiana at all, and that amounts to something. To him it does.

So he sits there, closes his eyes for a moment and inhales deeply and - oh, yep, that’s definitely cow shit, isn’t it - just listens to the sounds that surround him. Families having picnics, teenagers sneaking away, people bathing in the sun, birds singing, twigs cracking - hold on. Eddie jolts upright. Oh, fuck this, he’s getting outta here, he’s not in the mood to get roughed up by some high school freshmen who still think he’s put some satanic DnD spell on those students that died two years ago. 

Eddie grabs his Van Halen lunchbox, jumps up, ready to make his escape as he bumps into someone - he grabs onto the backrest of the bench for balance, watches the contents of his metal box spill out onto the floor. Well, at least there’s no drugs this time. “Shit”, he curses under his breath, crouches down to collect all the little figurines he’s fucking hand-crafted for the next Hellfire campaing, “Shit, jesus, fuck.” Why did he have to make them this small? “Shit ,ah, sorry. Sorry, my bad. You - you good?”
