for the last six-ish weeks, I've had an exceptionally challenging time of things re: my haunted devil body being exceptionally haunted and full of devils, and I have missed a lot of work. a lot of work. might be losing my job soon, in fact, but I'm trying not to think about that.
I'm trying to crawl my way out of the hole, but I have nothing in the bank right now and no money coming in, literally this is a screenshot of my account from today, and it's not showing the insurance payment that put me $50 in the negative this morning.
I have no other savings, my credit card's maxed out, I don't know how I'm going to pay my upcoming rent and my cupboard's down to baking ingredients and canned vegetables, so the sitch is looking pretty gd grim for me right now.

I think most y'all are following me because it is known that I make quilts, but that's mostly a side effect of my true hobby: collecting fabric. (this is a joke. mostly.)
I don't know that I have the energy to commit to making quilts or other complicated goods right now, but I do have a truly massive stash and excellent color sense. I've pulled these curated fat quarter collections as examples of what I have on offer:
this is a very small sample of what I have in my stash; I've been collecting fabrics since 2014, so I have a massive collection of rare & out-of-print fabrics from Moda, Free Spirit, Windham, RKaufman and other brands, a portion of which I've catalogued and uploaded to gdrive here.
that's nowhere near my full collection, it's just a jumping off point of what I've got to work with. I'd put fq bundles on etsy or something similar to make it easier, but the total lack of funds has temporarily kiboshed that idea.
in the meantime, I'm selling individual fat quarters for $2.50 each and curated stash-builder sets of five like the ones above for $15. I'd also be happy to make coordinating pot holders not unlike this one at $35 for a pair.
(pls don't ask me for oven mitts, I don't want to talk about one of my greatest failures)
NOTE: all fabric comes from a smoke, pet and fragrance-free environment, and will not be prewashed. I know that makes a difference to a lot of folks, not just me.

So, Iโm aware this isnโt a personal blog, and I donโt exactly want to make it one of those, but I need to vent a bit, my friends have a lot going on in their lives that what Iโm about to complain about will seem like small potatoes, and I donโt have any other social media. So, this Undertale Tumblr blog will just have to do.
For the last month and a half Iโve been attempting to get a business off the ground. I have all the documentations and legal whatnots, but whatโs been holding me back is the flipping website. Maybe Iโm cheap, maybe Iโm just too prideful, but I decided I would build the site myself completely by scratch with zero knowledge of HTML, or CSS, or any of that. Iโve managed it. The little creative spirit in me picked up the basics after many hours of trial and error (now ask me to solve a simple math equation and youโll see how intellectually inept I am). Amazing news, right? This website had its foot on my neck for weeks now, and this morning I was finally victorious!
Until I wasnโt.
I sent the site to my friend to test, and on mobile whenever you scrolled down it would zoom the page way out into the void. I thought Iโd put back on my handy dandy hard hat and make a simple tweak here, and little change thereโI fucked the whole thing up beyond repair, and I didnโt make a proper backup of the site, so now I need to start from scratch!
Well, not completely, but all the fancy code I added needs to be redone, and to be frank, um no. Not doing that shit again, so Iโm just gonna have a basic ass website and call it day for now because the longer itโs taking me to mess with this thing, the longer Iโm not launching my business. The little procrastinating, self-doubting, coward in me is super happy that I now have an excuse not to move forward and do this thing. Too bad since I spent too much money to just quit now.
All that said, Iโve been missing Discord lately. Iโm currently only in one server, but Iโd love to join another one, preferably something small and fandom focused. Iโm fine with any of the fandoms I have written for (so far Undertale, Sonic, and TMNT, but you can add in ATLA too. Plus, I like some โadultโ showsโwhatever the fuck that means. Actually, I donโt watch much television, so that is a lie).
If anyone wants to send some servers my way Iโd love that a bunch! I used to run several Discord servers back during lockdown, and I definitely do not want to do that again. Too much work that I currently canโt keep up with, but having a chill place to discuss fandom stuff, or creative projects, or fucked up websites that break on you when you change one line of code, is something Iโve been craving lately.

I am nedaa from the Gaza Strip. In the beginning, we lived for a short time in our house in temporary stability because our country was not a country of stability in the first place due to the ongoing wars on the Strip. My husband had a job and he had a source of income sufficient for us initially. On the seventh day of October, and on this morning, we woke up to... The beginning of this bloody war, shortly after the bombs fell on us and the disappearance of our basic needs of food, water, the necessities of life, pampers and milk, and after the bombing that hit the homes next to us, and after that we were forced to leave the house due to a ground operation and an order to evacuate the homes and the advance of tanks and shooting at us. We went out and my children and I could not. My husband and I wanted to take the most basic needs of blankets, mattresses, clothes, and food due to the lack of transportation during those difficult days. This was in the month of January, when it was winter and bitter cold. We walked long distances and were stranded until after that we were able to reach and flee to the city of Rafah, which was sparsely populated and almost Deprived of life, we were displaced to a place made up of tin, where deadly insects and germs were eating the bodies of our children. There was no water, no food, and nothing of the necessities of life. We struggled to get some food and water, and after a while, due to the severe bombing next to us, we were forced to flee again to the Khan Yunis suburbs. We were displaced inside the Khan Yunis suburbs for more than Once, due to violent bombing and shooting over our heads, we lived in tents made of cloth and wood, and my children lived through difficult days of fear and anxiety due to the intensity of the bombing. We learned during those days that our small house, which we had originally carved out of my fatherโs house, had been largely destroyed due to the violent bombing, and after several months. Living in tents, high heat, and the bitter cold of winter led to the withdrawal of vehicles from the areas in which we live, and we were able to reach our homes, which we were shocked by at the scene we saw of the horror of destruction caused by that war. We were forced to return to our destroyed home and set up shields to protect us from the elements of nature, and there was nothing there. Among the necessities of life, there is no food or water. The infrastructure was and still is completely destroyed, with sewage in the streets and we cannot bring water except with great difficulty. Now we are exposed to the cold and harsh winter and we need scarves and nylon to cover ourselves from the winter water. Even now we are exposed to shelling, bombs and gunfire. What is the fault of my children, Aysel? And Nidal, they live in this disastrous situation that does not provide them with the simplest basics of life, such as Pampers, milk, and all the necessities of life, and now we are living in a war of exorbitant prices in which we cannot provide the money to buy these needs, and now I am speaking to you, I and my small family are forced to ask for help from you so that we can secure a future. For my children, as we travel outside this country because of the constant wars, do not let us down and do not deprive us of your kindness and generosity.

Ayo, help out if you can, there are people in need of help. I know some people just skim through some of these like it's no big deal but heck if it were us, we'd have to resort to doing the same thing (or something similar).
