just realized that if i actually want to do the bsd bar au, i need to practice. Anyways, this is some silly little storyboard/rough draft. I like doing it in pen since it's easier to not focus on the details (yes, this was devoted for Q. Asagiri, please bring them back.)

Low key the hunting dogs are so much further detached from humanity than I think we give them credit for.
Aside from the obvious dehumanizing of themselves to characters like Sigma or Kunikida, they also just treat their bodies like objects.
Teruko punctures her own eardrums without hesitation to protect her brain.
Jounoâs first thought when being lit on fire is using his blood to cool the flames.
Tecchou says that even if they knock him down from the helicopter, heâll just use his sword to get right back up, not even mentioning the pain.
Tachihara stabs himself with his own ability to keep his cover. When the coin bomb explodes in his hand, heâs only mildly upset that it couldâve âmessed him upâ, before going back to what he was doing.
Fukuchi was willing to be the centerpiece of his plot for world peace, and intentionally took the blame. Itâs no mistake that his plan included his death.
Beyond all that, Teruko describes them as slaves to society. Tachihara (and I think Fukuchi also does this) refers to them as the fangs of the government.
One of the translations of Fukuchiâs speech to Fukuzawa while heâs being interrogated is that the Hunting Dogs wonât rest until they catch their prey because thatâs how they were designed.
Idk just something abt the silly dog soldiers and their own humanity. Not questioning it, thatâs not their place. They already know that theyâre weapons.
Is anyone gonna talk about the fact that Ranpo completely regressed to a pouty teenager when he was reunited with Fukuchi???

Not gonna lie, he would be a shit alpha. He would def put the world before you and go on whatever shitty mission hes been assigned even during your heat/rut. Hes not heartless, so he prob informed you of this before you started the relationship but you decided it was worth it somehow. Of course, he's gonna be really upset about it and feel like a failure of an alpha for a really long time bc he couldn't even be there for his mate. Not just heats too, but in general, because hes working in the military, there's not a lot of fixed hours and most of it based on the situation, he can easily be away for months on end.
Next, you have the injuries. They have their monthly surgeries, and they are so prone to injuries because have you seen them fight???? They disregard their body completely in order to win a fight. Truth is you probably spent more time next to his unconscious body in the hospital than with a healthy him. If you're the really homely care giving type then good luck because you have got your work cut out for you. Especially since you can't just look after him, but also the rest of the doggos since they literally come as a pack, and chances are, if you become his mate, they probably would become your cubs.
Lastly, you have the gel. Yea. You can tell I hate his hairstyle. In the A/B/O universe we're really into scenting but well guess what. With the crazy amount of gel he must use on the daily basis, i wonder if you can even smell him over all that gel. You probably have to have your head in the crook of his neck right where the scent gland is in order to be able smell his scent. However, that also means that you're closer to his hair and chances are, the smell of his stupid gel will overpower his actual scent. Well, I hope you like the smell of hair gel because its going to haunt you in your sleep.
Anyways in conclusion, you probably have to support him in his job in order for the relationship to function well, since it is a really big part of him. However, this means you often spend very little time with him. The dogs come as a pack so if you do end up becoming his mate, you WILL have to take the rest of them too, no matter howâŠconcerning some of them might be. Oh yea and then the gel. Good luck with that. Thats all I can say. However I do think the hardest part of this is actually getting into the relationship. I think he is the type to feel unlovable or undeserving of love because of what he experienced. His very demanding job might also make him hesitate when getting into a relationship. During the relationship he would probably feel really guilty and insecure of himself for all the shit he has to do and well, you will have to reassure him, make sure he knows that you love him. Some people (me) will question if hes worth it, but you know that he is!
Due to the war and suffering hes seen, he can be the sweetest most caring alpha ever because hes so afraid he'd lose you too. That's probably one of the reason he takes his job so seriously too, a better future for you. If you can convince him to focus on the present and spend more time with you instead of a future that might never come for him, be prepared for a very domestic and maybe just a lil needy alpha. How did Aya outsmart Fukuchi? A (couple) possible answers

The reason why this question comes up is because Fukuchi is built up very heavily, as an incredible fighter and as a big boy villain. In comparison, Aya is a self described incredibly average girl with no special traits. So the question goes, how did Aya outsmart Fukuchi?
1. Fukuchi isnât actually built up to be smart. Fukuchi is strong as hell, he is the perfect soldier, he can take down armies, he is Fukuzawaâs equal or greater. But he has never won because he was particularly clever. He wins because he has the overpowered weapons, the element of surprise, and a very good ability (+hunting dogs surgeries). This is not to undermine his overwhelming combat prowess but he is just a little stupid! Do not be fooled by his confusing time shenanigans! This man is more himbo than you think.
You can skip to the next reason but I donât want to sound like Iâm making unbased claims so here is why I think heâs (as stated) a little stoop:
In his first âbattleâ we see he almost frees his own prisoner, his second battle he wins because of time shenanigans (where at the end he is outsmarted, if by chance), he mistakes a tracking device for a flash drive, he didnât foresee being found out by Ranpo despite knowing the ADA, he is bested by his own subordinate in battle and again only wins because of time shenanigans, this is a small one but he literally monologues his plan! Bitch what if that tracking device was also a recorder!! Old man doesnât understand technology. His own subordinate who he expected to betray him gets a hit on his neck, and even after beating said subordinate he didnât even know then that there was anyone else was in the room, and etc.
2. The encounter of outsmarting was very short, probably under a minute in between Fukuchi finding out someone was in the room, and Fukuchi being called away. I have no doubt that if there were any more time Aya would be dead, but great luck was on her side, very simply.
3. If during his whole fight with Jouno he didnât realize Aya was there, then him not realizing Aya was in the coffin isnât that unlikely. Especially since the sound of breathing and rustling would just sound like Bram. Even with the heightened hunting dog senses he isnât Jouno, he canât parse different heartbeats.
4. This ties into the first, but he is used to high combat situations. He is not used to these types of encounters (he has subordinates for the grunt work of killing witnesses) so non-head on fights would catch him by surprise. Ayaâs moves are so simple that that is what claims her victory in the end.
All of these are theoretical but I find Fukuchiâs constant running into small evil plan inconveniences situation to be hilarious, which is beautiful because itâs even more surprising then that heâs actually the closest to taking over the world and doing the most damage any character ever has. Fukuchi as a villain is Fyodors opposite, where Fyodor has the all encompassing vibe of having everything planned out, Fukuchi has small issues constantly stopping him. While Fyodor commands total respect from his subordinates, 3/4 of Fukuchiâs have gone against his plan in some way (two directly betraying him). Where Fyodor killed nobody noteworthy, Fukuchi has killed 3 well established strong characters. Fukuchi being bested by a 10 year old is the biggest highlight of their differences: where Fyodorâs plans are a graceful sword slash, Fukuchiâs plans are a bashing mallet.
