notes and practice from the last chapter in our prog II class: file management. it's actually a fun topic.

exams killed me so the 30 days of code did not make it past the first week, maybe i'll start again another time.

Today is the 14/100 day of productivity, studying comp sci to prepare for the week ahead, which is full of humanities. Computer science is killing me---does anyone know a source for learning java or JavaScript? Luckily, next week is language and history!

Alan Turing, one of the best computer scientists and programmers ever, was gay. The world lost him at a young age because he wasn’t treated with the kindness every human deserves. 

Be nice to your fellow person. Be they a mathematical prodigy or an innominate stranger, everyone deserves to love and be loved.

Now that I have a degree in computer science, I will insist that I am a scientist and must wear a lab coat and goggles while I work as a software developer.
