i can add some stuff that happened in my uni :D
during exam season all the libraries were chocked full, and someone printed out an official-looking notice saying 'DESIGNATED CRYING AREA (please be respectful of other students who are also using of this space)' and plastered it on the wall of the main bathroom.
i have watched the downfall of the human psyche in the course's discord server.
i've also seen new rules added to that discord server which are SO alarming ('do not use this server to facilitate the sale of narcotics' is my favourite).
a bunch of writers locked themselves in the basement of the library for an overnight write-athon but got bored at around 2 am and started hunting the shelves for books about witchcraft and sex magic.
i met this student during a gay bar crawl but it turned out his field of study was complimentary to mine. That night, we drunkenly staggered from one bar to another while we talked about using code to optimise data collection in hospitals, arrived at the next bar and drank ourselves stupid, left to go to the next place, then repeated all that until 2 am.
there's a beautiful park not far from one of the campus buildings, so students go there in their breaks to clear their minds. The park is overrun with geese which frequently attack any children who go near them.
a dude working on an assignment in the middle of another class
"what else is going to keep me awake if not cocaine?"
red eyes from all nighters
taking so many voluntary courses you forget about your major
the introduction of meme Thursday™
"ever noticed how the prof has like super muscular calves?"
skipping class to work on several overdue presentations
conversations involving three languages
the hysterical laughter that occurred after the prof chose to abbreviate 'maximum prepositional phrase' to 'maximum pp'
No, you aren't "behind in life".
But, it's okay to grieve the time you spent surviving. The time spent trying to figure out what was wrong. The time spent healing to become a person again.
It wasn't your fault.
I love Akiko Yosano's poetry because some of it's about the tragedy + grief that occurs in a home when the youngest man is sent off to war and some of it is just about how great her tits are apparently
Had to do a double take because I thought this was round the corner of where I live. Semi-rural UK just looks like this

Oh these rich kids are terrible people 😃
God finding useful programming advice on youtube is so fucking ridiculous. I'm just looking for backend dev advice, and it's so many like "TOP 5 THINGS YOUR PORTFOLIO NEEDS", "CREATE A PORTFOLIO IN 20 MINUTES", "USE THIS PROJECT TO GET A JOB INSTANTLY". Like all these tech influencers just make up bullshit to sound smart. I need a loser with no thumbnail who's been programming for 15 years not these bozos.

I hate how 3 pm is so close to 2 pm so there's an illusion that there's still time left in the day to do things but in reality 3 pm is also close to 4 pm and if it's close to 4 pm you might as well just wait till tomorrow. <- can't argue against this by the way.
