Hi I’m Sorry I Have To Make Yet Another Post But I’ve Been Struggling A Lot Financially And I Need

Hi i’m sorry i have to make yet another post but i’ve been struggling a lot financially and i need help! i got the bill today from both times i was baker acted this year one being after my suicide attempt and there’s no way i can afford to pay this even if i create a payment plan. I’m currently living in a halfway (sober living) house and have to pay all of my bills including rent WEEKLY. I’ve been looking for a job but its going to take too long before i get my first paycheck and getting on my feet is going to take months n i won’t be able to keep up with my bills. I know most of us are broke but there’s people on here who are in a way better situation than i am and i could really use any type of help at this point even if its a few bucks. This is my first christmas away from my family and being completely financially independent has been a huge burden on me and im really bummed. I’d also like to be able to put this behind me as its been weighing on me a lot. Anyway if you can afford to help even just by reblogging this post it would mean the world to me

STOP TRUMP

The best chance we have right now to stop Donald Trump is for the Electoral College to reject him when they meet December 19. Hillary Clinton won the presidential election by more than 2.8 million votes. But because of the Electoral College, originally set up to protect slave states in the late 1700s, Donald Trump is going to be sworn in on January 20 – unless the electors refuse to let him. Electors for each state will meet at their state capitol building on Monday, December 19 to cast their votes. They can stop Donald Trump – but they need to hear from all of us. It will take at least 37 electors in red states to deny him the White House. People are gathering in all 50 state capitols on Monday, December 19 to urge the electors to stop Trump. Will you join the movement and help stop a popular vote loser – and a hateful bigot – from becoming president? YES, I will join an Electoral College protest in my state capitol on Monday, December 19. No, I can’t participate, but I will write my legislator and urge them to support the National Popular Vote plan to require electors in future years to choose the winner of the nationwide popular vote. Or, I will chip in $3 or more to help DFA organize to stop Trump – and ensure that the next president is elected by National Popular Vote. There’s been a lot of breaking news lately about electors who are trying to stop Donald Trump from becoming president:

A Republican elector in Texas, Chris Suprun, wrote in The New York Times that he will not vote for Trump: “Fifteen years ago, I swore an oath to defend my country and Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. On December 19, I will do it again.”

On Monday, ten electors wrote to the Director of National Intelligence to request a briefing about reports Russia interfered in the presidential election.

And, on Wednesday, Lawrence Lessig went on MSNBC and CNN and predicted as many as 20 Republican electors could defect from Trump – and perhaps more if momentum grows in the coming days.

There are plenty of reasons for the Electoral College to reject Trump, beyond the fact that he lost the popular vote by a landslide. Trump is assembling a cabinet of billionaires, bigots, and bullies who will help him loot the country, make inequality worse, and attack people of color. He’s turning the presidency into a vehicle for his own personal profit at our expense. Let’s be clear: It won’t be easy to convince at least 37 electors to reject Trump. Electors are party loyalists who rarely vote against the candidate who won their state. And the Republican National Committee is putting intense pressure on Republican electors to stand by Trump. But we have to step up and fight to defend our rights, our democracy, and our communities. That’s why we have to urge electors to do the right thing, even if the chances of success aren’t great. Will you help? YES, I will join an Electoral College protest in my state capitol on Monday, December 19. No, I can’t participate, but I will write my legislator and urge them to support the National Popular Vote plan to require electors in future years to choose the winner of the nationwide popular vote. Or, I will chip in $3 or more to help DFA organize to stop Trump – and ensure that the next president is elected by popular vote. Thank you for standing up for our democracy.

It’s 2015. If doctors don’t know how to operate on fat bodies. Then they shouldn’t be doctors. We have enough resources an equipment to deal with “obese” patients. There is no need for the medical community to continue fat shaming.

there was a 15 year old pakistani boy who was beaten half to death with a baseball bat by two white men in ontario, canada not far from where i go to uni and he had to crawl home and was in surgery for days for his cracked skull and several other injuries and is experiencing serious issues with memory and motor skills now. i literally can’t stop crying because he’s just a kid and when he finally did make it home, he lied to his parents that he “just fell” because he didn’t want to worry them and that’s literally tearing me up inside that this boy was so severely beaten that he almost died and still his foremost concern was not worrying his parents. no one deserves to be attacked like this, but the more i learn about him and how shy and quiet and inward of a kid he is it just fills me with the utmost rage that someone could do this to such a harmless, innocent, completely defenceless kid. idk how demonic these two white men had to be that they could beat anyone, let alone a child, so savagely

Let’s help those in need in Aleppo right now.

PraOn December 12th, over 100,000 people in East Aleppo were trapped in a 5 square kilometer range as they were being bombarded by airstrikes from Russia and the Syrian government to attempt to overtake the rebel-held area. “The Russia-backed ground offensive, which began on November 26, followed an intensive aerial bombing campaign that knocked out most of the medical facilities, targeted civil defence and municipal vehicles and blocked roads with rubble.” The world is sitting and watching a genocide happen before their eyes as civilians are being massacred. Families posted on various social media platforms to say their final goodbyes.

massacre

the Syrian dictator Assad, along with Putin, are about to completely massacre an entire city - Aleppo. the Syrian army has taken over 98% of the city. families are sitting together, praying, knowing any minute will be their last minute on earth. civilians are tweeting their last goodbyes, sending out last minute pleas for someone, anyone, to help.

imagine that. sitting with the people you love, holding each other, hearing nothing but their harsh breathing and the clash of bombs completely destroying your home, killing your neighbors, your friends, you. just imagine that. i cant, i really cannot.

the U.N. has already called Syria the worst humanitarian crisis in this century. experts are saying this massacre rivals that of WW2 (not to take away from the holocaust) in terms of how heinous and completely disgusting it is.

i’m not the best with words, with conveying me emotions. but please take a moment out of your time to acknowledge this, at least. this is the worst humanitarian crisis happening on Earth right now, according to the U.N. this is a breach of human rights, of all our rights. you should be concerned, in the least.
