Now That I Have Had Some Time With This, I Think The Thing That Is The Absolute Dumbest And Bothers Me

Now that I have had some time with this, I think the thing that is the absolute dumbest and bothers me the most is that they wrote Tommy having the kind of fear filled meltdown that someone with none of his life experience might have, which isn’t to say that he couldn’t be afraid of losing Buck, in fact I would be shocked if he wasn’t afraid of that, because to love something is to be afraid of losing it, but someone like Tommy Kinard with all that he has lived through, which not for nothing includes a hell of a lot of introspection while he figured himself tf out, would be wise enough to say to himself, yes I am afraid bc I am in love, and that is something I will have to continue to face but that doesn’t have to mean that my fear is logical or rational or well founded, sometimes fear is just fuckin fear
