Guys, he's not with the team. Let's make it look like like an accident
"Is it that hard for you to take pictures with everyone, Jimmy?đ"
Damn, I think we need "The Bird's Words" I wanna see at least one episode this post made me think too much
My beta reader and I have this AU we talk about (but Iâll never write) and in it, Beedle is an immortal deity who secretly lives in Linkâs and Zeldaâs houseâs shed and it allows him to time travel to Skyward Swordâs time and Wind Wakerâs time, which is why heâs in each game. Link and Zelda do not know he sometimes lives there, because heâs usually on the road and only lives in the shed when he needs to time travel. No one else can time travel with the shed.
In this same AU, Revali has a ânewsâ tv show where all he does is roast Link. Itâs called âThe Birdâs Wordsâ and Link is secretly obsessed with it. He finds it so funny and his goal is to be on it one day. He doesnât let Revali know because then Revali may stop making it. Link owns merch for it but it annoys Zelda because she hates the show (she loves Link and canât stand Revali bad mouthing him), so he gets his own secret well to store his Birdâs Words paraphernalia. When Revali dies and has no physical form, he turns the show into a podcast.
This AU takes place in the same universe as my fic âAn Apple a Dayâ, but the apples donât actually come up much when my beta reader and I talk about it.
My favorite part of this whole thing is that my beta reader has not played any LoZ game, nor watched any playthroughs, nor read any of the mangas. The only things she knows are what I tell in my fics and when I info dump about the characters. This means sometimes she forgets certain things arenât canon. The other day I told her that Beedle doesnât sell apples, much less Linkâs apples, and she was so bewildered that youâd think I told her I made up Beedle himself
For every type of major collectible seen in 3D Mario games, there has been a different implementation of in-engine coloration in different games.
While regular Power Stars are yellow due to using a yellow texture, Grand Stars in Super Mario Galaxy are black internally, and are colored yellow at runtime. This is implemented this way to allow the "drained" effect seen on the first Grand Star to fade dynamically into its regular coloration.
In Super Mario Odyssey, Power Moons do not actually use differently colored textures, and are white internally while being colored into their various variants at runtime.
In Super Mario Sunshine, Shine Sprites have a white-black gradient texture that is applied at an extremely low intensity to an in-engine yellow color to create a slight gradient that appears like light reflecting off its surface.
