hear me out… single parents, protective and loving. Vi and Jayce siblingsm. Vander getting cooking tips from Ximena, and Ximena taste-testing Vander’s drinks. They’re cheesy asf, Vander with his stupid dad jokes and pickup lines and Ximena is eating it uppp.

Ximena acting reserved but her eyes are fixated on that godly dad bod, having unholy thoughts.

Vander being haunted by the similar features of his ex in her face (the bun, the grey streak of hair, the long nose -) but he melts when she cradles his face and he’s reminded that chapter is closed.

of course it was startling the very first time seeing mylo and claggor alive and well in ekko's pleasant dimension, but something specifically that struck me was mylo's little mustache. we've been seeing him as a manifestation of Jinx's trauma, and she has not imagined him changing or growing, she has a crystallized version of him that stopped developing the day he died. They're adults now. only the dead stay 17 forever.
