It almost seems like non-disabled people have a harder time accepting when a chronically disabled person will never get better - and maybe even deteriorate over time, than the affected person has.
"Aww don't lose hope"
There is no hope to be had? Stop pushing your toxic positivity down my throat when I have come to terms with my situation and am grieving already.
Losing hope is what has given me an ounce of peace of mind. This is what life is now. It's not your grief, it's mine.
Why are universities and colleges obsessed with packing as much as possible into a shortened term? I’m trying to figure out where and what I want to get degree in, and I keep running into the issue of 6.5-8 week terms that are normally 14-16 weeks long.
It’s fine and dandy if you can adjust to that schedule and learning pace, but I have several disabilities that make this extreme learning obsession impossible and very defeating. Not everyone can do that and so many schools don’t accommodate for that because it’s built into the basic degree structure! Does anyone else feel the insanity of this? Get your degree in half the time but burn out before you finish. That’s super healthy! /sarcasm
and of course the classic
Note taking day for my forensic science class. I have 2 chapters to read this week, plus a short answer assignment.
I’m also putting off making an outline for my research report for my business communications class. It’s stressing me out.
I’m done with my gender and society class and have 4 weeks left until I’m done with my associates. Almost 20 years in the making.
Yesterday I made the decision to go for my bachelors in data analytics and programming. It still feels crazy but I think it’s the right decision.
found an old google doc i made of my favorite bat species. you should suggest more species for my list pls
First anime I ever watched an episode: Sailor Moon
First anime I attempted to get into the series but couldn’t fully: My Hero Academia
First anime I devoured from start to finish and need more of: Saga of Tanya the Evil
I feel like Food Wars also needs a mention here, but it’s a very casual watch for me.
That post about death note being "everyone's first anime" (untrue statement) made me curious and now I want to gather data for science
Can you reblog this and tell me where are you from and what was your starter anime?
Dorothy has been feeling ill for a number of weeks, and is worried that there might be something seriously wrong with her health. But, after seeing numerous doctors and specialists, no one can give her an answer as to what the issue could be, and instead dismiss her concerns with claims that she’s simply depressed about being single or getting older. Dr. Budd, in particular, suggests that she ‘take a cruise’ or ‘change your hair colour’ to make herself feel better, as his own wife did. Dorothy begins to wonder if it’s all in her head, but the girls assure her that they know she’s sick because they know her. Finally, after her friend, Dr. Weston, recommends her to specialist Dr. Chang, Dorothy is diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Relieved and happy that she finally has a name for what’s wrong with her – and that she’s not ‘crazy’ like the doctors originally made her believe – she takes the girls out to a celebratory dinner and sees Dr. Budd in the restaurant, where she decides to confront him about his treatment of her.

Why does every other horoscope think that I, as a Taurus, can cook? I like to eat yummy things, but that doesn’t mean I cook well. It just means I have a husband and wife who know how to feed me to keep me happy. Left to my own devices? I eat things made in a microwave. With no seasoning. #tauruslife https://www.instagram.com/p/Cio3BoeuG2c1uP7wXIVrP1TGWw8LbanSvunmm00/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
I’m “watching” my bestie’s 7 year old son and he’s watching Godzilla videos. He’s telling me all about the different Godzillas and their abilities. It makes my heart so happy. You go, T! Tell me all about your current hyperfocus and obsession. I love this kid.
