Oh, yes! I also want to discuss this topic. Because these moments are just at the diamond level for me. Spock and McCoy, despite everything they are ready to say to each other, will never take advantage of each other's weakness in normal times. They both see this line when any jokes are inappropriate and they need to lay down their "weapons." McCoy is genuinely worried about Spock and knows that he is not an insensitive bastard. He always knows. And when it was really bad for Spock to use this weakness, it meant betraying a trust that had clearly not been built up in one month or year. Spock, in turn, accepts the doctor's weakness and does not blame him for it. After all, McCoy is a human being and quite sensitive. Mocking his grief was akin to burying him more deeply in the "grave." That's why he stays close. I remember a scene from the book "The Entropy Effect". I swear it was one of the best scenes I've ever seen. I fucking love that these two take care of each other and know when to stop.

I need someone to chew over something with me re: that you're a doctor/I'm his son, and the scenes that are private to Spock and McCoy which show us how they've seen each other, in a way they don't bring up outside of them.

something about how McCoy has seen Spock uninhibited and furious and cruel and has never brought it up, accepted and addressed it and never let it color their relationship outside of it, and Spock has seen McCoy vulnerable and lost and uncertain and given him unconditional acceptance and comfort without, funnily enough, making him confront those emotions by being too direct about it (I'm thinking about multiple scenes in operation annihilate & also "isn't that a human failing?" and tholian web even

This is my first attempt at an AMV-style edit, syncing scenes to the lyrics. The song is "M" by DaiTank (Дайте Танк!), a Russian indie band. It’s about masculinity, vulnerability, and how men often hide their pain—until it’s too late.

English translation of the lyrics:

"Men tend to pretend like nothing hurts them. Because even the strongest, the bravest of men fear the smell of hospitals. And after some illness, men bury each other. A man was here—now he’s gone. A portrait left standing in a field."

I Would Like To Share A Sketch Of One Fawn Character From The Role-playing Game. He Was Inspired By The

I would like to share a sketch of one fawn character from the role-playing game. He was inspired by the great Dr. Leonard McCoy. Actually, we gave him the name Horatio. According to history, he is united with our good doctor only by the profession of a village doctor, external similarity, and also a "wonderful" character. The similarities probably end there. I love them both with all my heart
